Your role

As Controller with a focus on societal transformation, you will work with financial monitoring and analysis in a long-term assignment that has a major impact on both the business and society.

Your tasks are to support the operations, to work with financial statements and reporting, budget, forecast, long-term plans, and investments/projects. Your main tasks are linked to societal transformation, but you may also work with other areas and are expected to contribute to well-functioning financial processes within the business area.

The department for societal transformation is responsible for decommissioning areas affected by mining, ensuring land availability for replacement areas, and investing in new infrastructure. The work includes planning, decision processes, implementation of construction projects, and financial monitoring.

Organizationally, you will belong to the Controlling and System Support section within the Järnmalm business area, together with a team of controllers and developers who work with operational and IT support within the finance area. The role involves close cooperation with the operations and active support in their daily and long-term work.

The position is located in Gällivare or Kiruna. Travel will be a natural and regular part of the role.

You are confident in your role as a controller and have the ability to work both analytically and in detail, while also being able to lift your gaze and see the whole picture. You work in a structured and careful manner, but are also flexible and solution-oriented when conditions change. The role involves handling complex issues, where cooperation and a non-prestigous way of working are central – we solve challenges together. We see that you have an interest in operational controlling and thrive in a role where you get to take responsibility, contribute with analysis, and transform financial information into clear decision-making support. You communicate in a way that creates understanding among different types of stakeholders and are comfortable working both independently and in a team. We would like to see that you have:

An academic degree in economics, such as civilekonom or industrial economics, but other educations may also be relevant Experience in controller work Good experience with the Office suite, primarily Excel Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written A B-driver's license is a requirement for all positions at LKAB
