Description of the workplace

The Pan(c)gnosis laboratory (https://www.pancgnosislab.com) studies the fundamental mechanisms governing pancreatic development, regeneration, and tissue repair, with the long-term goal of translating these discoveries into new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for diabetes, metabolic diseases, and exocrine pancreatic diseases. To answer these questions, we combine human tissue resources, stem cell and organoid models, advanced microscopy, and computational methods. The laboratory is located at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Biomedical Center (BMC) in Lund and forms part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment within the Faculty of Medicine.

We are now seeking a curious and proactive project assistant who wants to join the laboratory during its buildup phase and contribute to the development and establishment of stem cell and organoid platforms with a focus on exocrine pancreas biology and disease.
