Profile: Cybersecurity Consultant (M&A / Risk Assessment)

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or IT Risk Management.
• 3+ years of experience performing security assessments, security posture reviews, and gap analysis.

Experience in:

• Support for cybersecurity activities for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), due diligence, integration, or divestiture.
• Third-party risk assessments and vendor security reviews.
• Assessment and improvement of security controls in: IAM (Identity and Access Management), Network Security, Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Management, Security Monitoring and Incident Response, Data Protection, and Cloud Security.
• Development of remediation roadmaps and follow-up of corrective actions until closure.
• Coordination with cross-functional teams (IT, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, business leaders).
• Solid knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NIST 800-53, and SOC 2.
• Ability to communicate risks and recommendations to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).
• CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control).
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor.
• CCSP (for cloud-focused environments).
• Security+, CASP+ or equivalent certifications.
