For the 2026/27 school year, we have 400 students from grades 7 to 9. Here, experienced and engaged teachers and pedagogues, leaders, and professionals work. At Björkskataskolan, we believe in creating a good atmosphere together and building relationships between everyone at the school. We have a nice local area with a hockey rink, football pitch, and basketball court, as well as fine indoor study environments with good light, air, and noise levels.

Your tasks

The school includes, among other things, two learning studios where resource pedagogues and special educators/special teachers work with students so they receive extra support. The work team collaborates with the local student health team, which consists of the school management, resource pedagogue, special educators, counselor, SYV, and school nurse. We also have a well-functioning student council that provides good opportunities for student influence, creating engaged students who care about their school and education. Tasks We need a teacher in French and English for grades 6-9. You will be part of a work team and subject team and will work closely with other teachers to create the best teaching for the students.

Your assignment includes planning, conducting teaching, assessing students' performance, as well as assessing and grading students. You will also have mentorship together with another teacher in your work team, where you are responsible for following up on your mentees' knowledge development and well-being in school. Qualifications We are looking for you who have the eligibility and certification to teach the modern languages French and English. You can express yourself well in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you have experience and knowledge in working for language and knowledge development, as well as good knowledge in using digital tools as a pedagogical tool and for communication in learning.

Requirements

It is of great importance that you can contribute to the values-based work at the school through a democratic approach and by being a good role model. You have the ability to build relationships with the students and between the students and can create clear structure and clear frameworks so that it becomes safe and that the students receive a good and accessible working environment.
