Career Change into Aircraft Workshops (Aircraft Mechanic - Maintenance Technology)

In the aircraft workshops, you will undertake the following tasks, among others:

• Perform maintenance and repair of aircraft components
• Process repair orders and carry out modifications as part of supplementary maintenance
• Test and adjust components on a test bench
• Document maintenance work and certify components for flight operations

Your Profile:

For your new role as a career changer in the aircraft workshops at Lufthansa Technik, you should meet the following requirements:

• (Soon) completed vocational training in one of the following areas: e.g., dental technician, watchmaker, industrial specialist for pneumatics, heating engineer, plumber, tinsmith, or a comparable qualification
• Willingness to acquire missing qualifications as well as to undergo job-related further training
• German language skills desirable or the willingness to learn German
• Good English skills
