Information Security Manager (m/f/d) For Lürssen Werft Bremen GmbH & Co. KG at the Bremen location Your position in our crew

In your new role as a member of our Compliance Management Team, you will take over information security management. This includes, among other things:

• Further development and strengthening of our information security management, incorporating NIS 2 requirements.
• Establishment of an Incident Response Team within the framework of emergency management for cyber security and other information security incidents in cooperation with our IT.
• Investigation of security-relevant incidents.
• Establishment of a reporting system for cyber security or near-miss cyber security incidents and conducting Lessons Learned in cooperation with the IT, Purchasing, and QS departments.
• Review of information security at suppliers and other business partners in coordination and cooperation with Purchasing.
• You are the first point of contact for internal and external questions regarding information security.
• You support the external ISB in performing its tasks and responsibilities.
• Creation of the security concept and associated sub-concepts, including the coordination of system specifications in close cooperation and coordination with IT.
• Creation of implementation plans for security measures and initiation of their implementation in close cooperation and coordination with IT.
• Review and, if necessary, updating of the information security policy from time to time.
• Development of work instructions in concretization of the information security policy.
• Establishment of an internal and external reporting office according to NIS 2 specifications.
• Accompanying security-relevant projects.
• Organization and implementation of training for LHB and subsidiaries (in cooperation with the respective Local Compliance Officer).
• Organization of the "Information Security" working group and regular exchange with participants from the Data Protection, Compliance, IT, Purchasing, and external ISB departments.
• Consulting and support for the subsidiary companies in accordance with the existing Compliance Management System.

What you have in your luggage

• Successfully completed studies as an Information Technician, Industrial Engineer, alternatively First State Law Examination, or a comparable training.
• Organizational skills and the ability to develop and structure something new in a team.
• Communication and argumentation skills paired with clever assertiveness.
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A responsible, conscientious, and interdisciplinary thinking and established personality, who is service-oriented and enjoys occasional business trips to the yacht locations of their customers due to a strong team spirit (share of travel activity: approx. 15%).
