These are your tasks:

The position of Technical Assistant is to be filled immediately at the Institut für Immunologie in the Biomedizinisches Centrum (BMC) of the Medical Faculty of LMU München on the Campus Martinsried:

• Cellular-immunological and molecular biological activities as well as laboratory organization
• Intensive engagement with techniques of experimental immunology and molecular biology, in particular flow cytometry, microscopy, cell culture, ELISA, PCR, cloning, and protein purification, is desired.
• All activities consist of research work with a particularly high level of responsibility, requiring both independent work as well as collaboration with various experimenters in the team.

This is you:

• Applicants possess a state-recognized degree as a Medical or Biological Technical Assistant or an equivalent qualification.
• Sound knowledge of common molecular and cellular biological or biochemical techniques is an advantage; practical experience in these areas is desirable, but not a mandatory requirement.
• Experience in using MS Office and very good English skills round off their profile.
• We desire a willingness to learn new techniques and methods, enjoyment of working in an international team, as well as an independent and team-oriented way of working.
