Lucy Pastorelli Distribution Ltd is a fast-growing brand, retailing professional nail technician tools and equipment to nail techs worldwide. With a reputation for innovation and quality, we’re quickly becoming one of the leading names in the industry. We're looking for an organised, proactive and hands-on Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the business from our Sheffield HQ. You'll have responsibility across stock and supplier management, warehouse and fulfilment, wholesale orders, our US 3PL and the day-to-day management of the team. This is a hands-on management role. We're looking for someone who can keep the operation running smoothly, implement strong processes, anticipate problems before they happen and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up and work alongside the team when needed.

Key Responsibilities Stock & Supplier Management Take ownership of stock levels, forecasting requirements and placing purchase orders with UK and overseas suppliers. Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, lead times, delays and product requirements. Maintain accurate stock records, monitor incoming deliveries and identify potential stock issues early. Coordinate stock requirements and delivery timelines for new product launches. Warehouse & Fulfilment Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the Sheffield warehouse and manage team workloads. Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and within required timescales. Maintain high standards of organisation, accuracy and efficiency. Work alongside the team with picking, packing and despatch during busy periods where required. Identify operational issues and take ownership of resolving them. Team Management Manage, support and allocate workload across the warehouse team. Manage timesheets, attendance and holiday coordination. Monitor performance, setting clear expectations and addressing issues appropriately. Work closely with the CEO on staffing requirements and operational priorities. Wholesale & US Operations Manage the operational fulfilment of wholesale orders, ensuring stock, documentation and delivery requirements are coordinated correctly. Liaise with wholesale partners where required regarding orders and deliveries. Coordinate stock shipments to our US fulfilment partner (3PL). Manage the day-to-day relationship with our US 3PL, including stock shipments, replenishment, fulfilment issues and checking invoices/charges for accuracy. Systems & Process Improvement Ensure existing operational systems and processes are implemented and consistently followed. Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity. Reduce unnecessary manual processes and ensure key procedures are documented.

About You We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership and making sure things run properly. You'll ideally have previous experience in operations, warehouse management, stock management, logistics or a similar role , along with experience supervising or managing a team. You'll be: Exceptionally organised and confident managing multiple priorities. A strong people manager who is comfortable setting expectations and holding people accountable. Proactive and solutions-focused, you spot problems and deal with them rather than waiting for someone else to. Commercially aware, particularly when managing stock, suppliers and costs. Confident communicating with UK and overseas suppliers and external partners. Comfortable working with systems, spreadsheets and operational data. Detail-focused, particularly when dealing with stock, orders and invoices. Comfortable working at pace and adapting quickly when priorities change. Hands-on and willing to work alongside the warehouse team when required. Someone with a strong work ethic who takes genuine ownership of their responsibilities. Experience working with international suppliers, 3PLs, e-commerce or wholesale would be advantageous, but isn't essential. Working Hours The normal working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm . As an Operations Manager, there may occasionally be a requirement to work additional hours during particularly busy periods, including major promotions, stock deliveries or other operational requirements.
