Your tasks

Candidates who achieve the highest number of points in the written test and interview will undergo professional selection at the Hrvatski zavod za zapošljavanje.

Requirements

• completed undergraduate university study or professional study or professional undergraduate study lasting less than 3 (three) years in the field of law or economics in accordance with earlier regulations,
• at least 1 (one) year of professional work experience,
• active knowledge of English or German language in speaking and writing (minimum level A1),
• computer skills: working in Windows environment, use of Microsoft Office suite,
• internet proficiency

How to apply

• CV (hand-signed),
• proof of acquired professional qualification (copy of diploma) or a copy of the decision on the recognition of a foreign educational qualification (if the qualification, i.e., the corresponding level of education and profession, was obtained abroad, it is necessary to attach the decision on the recognition of the foreign educational qualification issued by an authorized institution in RH) if applicable;
• proof of Croatian citizenship (copy of ID card, passport, or domovnica),
• certificate from the competent court that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against the candidate (not older than six months from the date of publication of the public tender),
• proof of work experience, i.e., an electronic record or certificate of data recorded in the database of Hrvatski zavod za mirovinsko osiguranje (not older than the date of publication of the public tender),
• employer's certificate of work experience in relevant jobs (decision on assignment to a workplace or employment contract or other proof from which it is visible in which jobs the candidate worked),
• hand-signed statement on active knowledge of a foreign language at a minimum level A1 in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference (it is not necessary to certify the statement),
• hand-signed statement on computer proficiency (it is not necessary to certify the statement),
• proof of change of personal data – in case the candidate attaches documents to the application in which personal data are not identical, they are obliged to provide proof of their change (copy of marriage or birth certificate, etc.)

• Documents are submitted as uncertified copies, and the selected candidate will be obliged to present the original or a certified copy.
• Applications with proof of fulfillment of requirements are submitted within 8 (eight) days from the publication of the public tender in Narodne novine, directly or by mail in a sealed envelope to the address:

A complete application is considered an application that contains all the data and attachments specified in the public tender. A person who has not submitted a timely or complete application or does not meet the formal requirements of the public tender is not considered a candidate applied for the public tender, of which a written notice will be provided, usually via e-mail.

Persons of both sexes may apply to the tender. Words and conceptual constructs that have gender meaning, regardless of whether they are used in the text in the masculine or feminine gender, refer equally to both male and female gender. Along with the hand-signed application, candidates are obliged to attach:

• By applying to the tender, the candidate gives consent for their personal data contained in the tender documentation to be collected and processed for the purpose of conducting the tender in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data in accordance with the Zakon o provedbi Opće uredbe o zaštiti podataka (Narodne novine broj 42/18) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

By submitting an application to the tender, the candidate agrees that their personal data (first and last name) will be published on the Lučka uprava Osijek website. At any time, candidates may request the cessation of further processing of their personal data, i.e., its deletion, by sending a request to the e-mail address: dpo@port-osijek.hr

• Persons who, according to special regulations, exercise the right to priority in employment must refer to this right in the application for the public tender, i.e., attach all prescribed documentation according to the special law to the application and have priority over other candidates only under equal conditions.
• Candidates who refer to the right of priority in employment in accordance with Art. 102 of the Zakon o hrvatskim braniteljima iz Domovinskog rata i članovima njihovih obitelji (NN br. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21, 156/23), Art. 48.f of the Zakon o zaštiti vojnih i civilnih invalida rata (NN br. 33/92, 77/92, 27/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13, 98/19), Art. 48 of the Zakon o civilnim stradalnicima Domovinskog rata (NN br. 84/21), Art. 9 of the Zakon o profesionalnoj rehabilitaciji i zapošljavanju osoba s invaliditetom (NN br. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18, 32/20) are obliged to refer to this right in the application for the public tender and have priority over other candidates only under equal conditions.
• Under "equal conditions" is understood a situation in which two candidates have the same number of points on the final ranking list, and the priority in employment is given to the candidate who referred to a specific right in their application and proved it.
• Candidates who refer to the right of priority in employment in accordance with Art. 102 of the Zakon o hrvatskim braniteljima iz Domovinskog rata i članovima njihovih obitelji and Art. 48 of the Zakon o civilnim stradalnicima Domovinskog rata must, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, attach all necessary evidence available at the link of the Ministarstvo hrvatskih branitelja: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843
• Candidates who refer to the right of priority in employment in accordance with Art. 9 of the Zakon o profesionalnoj rehabilitaciji i zapošljavanju osoba s invaliditetom must, in addition to proof of fulfillment of the required conditions, attach proof of established status as a person with a disability and proof of the manner of termination of the employment relationship with the last employer (copy of a decision, resolution, contract, etc.).
• For the applied candidates, a written test and an interview before the Commission will be conducted, as well as professional selection of candidates at the Hrvatski zavod za zapošljavanje. Candidates who meet the formal requirements of the tender will be able to access the written test. Candidates who have achieved at least 60% of the points in the written test will be invited to an interview before the Commission.

• If a candidate does not attend the written test, it will be considered that they have withdrawn their application to the tender.
• Legal and other sources for preparing candidates for the written test will be published on the Lučka uprava Osijek website (http://port-osijek.hr/ ).
• Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered. Candidates will be notified of the time of the written test and interview via e-mail or telephone according to the data provided in the application to the tender.
• Until the decision on the selection of the candidate is made, Lučka uprava Osijek reserves the right to cancel the tender partially or in its entirety without the obligation of additional clarification of its decision and without any responsibility towards the candidates.
