Junior/Middle Automation Tester

Your tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and testing tools for web and mobile applications.
• Develop test cases for both existing and newly developed features based on project requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests to verify product functionality, identify defects, and ensure product quality.
• Perform API testing and collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve reported issues.
• Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans, checklists, and test cases.
• Participate in testing activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Research and adopt new testing tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• At least 2.5 years of experience in software testing, with experience in the game domain being highly preferred.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or REST Assured.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with API testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and the ability to design effective test cases for existing and new features.
• Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong requirement analysis skills and the ability to write clear, comprehensive test cases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest.
• Experience in performance testing and/or SDK testing.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Experience working on game-related projects.

Communication and Soft Skills

• Good verbal communication skills in English; an IELTS certificate is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
• Good communication and collaboration skills when working with developers, QA team members, and other stakeholders.
