Your tasks
Develop detailed architectural/interior drawings and 3D BIM models to support project delivery, ensuring compliance with regulations and coordination across disciplines in a dynamic design environment.
- Develop detailed working drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details for Authorities' submissions and tender documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
- Translate conceptual design sketches into precise technical drawings to support project development
- Ensure all working drawings comply with Authorities' requirements, building codes, and safety regulations to facilitate approvals
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to ensure design integration
- Verify dimensions, specifications, and drawing accuracy; update drawings progressively and maintain organized project documentation from concept through as-built stages
- Communicate effectively with project teams to resolve design and coordination issues promptly
Requirements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Architecture or Architectural Technology
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM and SketchUp is advantageous
- Understanding of construction methods, building materials, finishes, building services, and architectural/interior detailing
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Experience in drafting architectural projects is preferred
- Familiarity with Authorities' requirements, building codes, safety regulations, and submission processes is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
