About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to oversee day-to-day human resources operations and help build an effective, compliant, and engaged workforce. The ideal candidate should be comfortable balancing strategic HR planning with hands-on employee and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and people-focused initiatives. Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and exit processes. Lead workforce planning and coordinate recruitment activities based on business requirements. Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave schedules, and other HR documentation. Manage performance processes, including KPIs, appraisals, probation, and employee confirmation. Address employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts professionally. Ensure HR practices align with applicable labour regulations and company policies. Coordinate employee engagement, learning, training, and development initiatives. Prepare HR reports and provide management with relevant workforce data and insights. Work closely with managers and leadership to resolve people-related issues and improve employee performance and effectiveness. Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and organisational information.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations , or a related discipline. 5+ years of progressive HR experience , preferably including supervisory or managerial responsibilities. Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, employment regulations, and best practices. Experience with recruitment, performance management, payroll coordination, and general HR administration. Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR management systems. CIPM, SHRM, HRCI , or another recognised HR certification is an added advantage.
