As part of its expansion across Africa, the company is strengthening its presence in West and Central Africa, particularly in Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, and neighbouring markets.
Your tasks
Mamoru is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead regional growth, oversee operations, and drive business expansion across multiple African markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, managing regional performance, and strengthening the company’s position in the fintech and foreign exchange (FX) sectors.
- Lead the execution of Mamoru’s business strategy and growth plans across African markets.
- Oversee daily operations, financial performance, and regulatory compliance within the region.
- Identify and pursue expansion opportunities in Ghana, Cameroon, and other target markets.
- Recruit, lead, and develop high-performing regional teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, investors, banks, and fintech partners.
- Drive innovation and strategic initiatives to strengthen Mamoru’s competitiveness in fintech and FX.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in executive leadership, business development, or financial services, preferably within fintech or foreign exchange.
- Demonstrated experience working across African markets, particularly Nigeria, Ghana, and Cameroon.
- Strong strategic planning, financial management, and operational leadership skills.
- Solid understanding of FX markets and financial regulatory frameworks across Africa.
- An advanced degree is an added advantage.
