Requirements:

• Completed laboratory education, mbo, hbo education, or a bachelor's in Biotechnology, Biology, Life Sciences, or a similar field.
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience within a GMP cleanroom environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset.
• Ability to follow procedures accurately and work in a structured manner.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Good command of the English language, both oral and written. English is the working language within Lonza and daily communication, procedures, and documentation take place largely in English.
• Willingness to work in shift work, including evenings and weekends.
• Possession of a valid driver's license due to the limited availability of public transport during certain shifts.

The gross annual salary for this position is between €32,250 and €45,150, depending on knowledge, experience, and added value.

Job Description What will you do? As a Biotech Associate, you are responsible for various production activities within the cell therapy process. Your activities consist of, among other things:

• Performing cell and tissue culture activities according to GMP guidelines and procedures.
• Performing production tasks such as media preparation, cell expansion, and harvesting.
• Working in a cleanroom environment according to strict aseptic techniques.
• Correctly and timely filling in production documentation and batch records.
• Identifying, documenting, and reporting deviations to ensure quality and compliance.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
• Collaborating with departments such as Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and MSAT to support efficient production.
• Working in a 5-shift roster: 2 morning shifts, 2 afternoon shifts, 2 night shifts.
