PART TIME KITCHEN CREW

Job Summary

Join Lola Faye as a Part-Time Kitchen Crew member in a fun, fast-paced kitchen. Assist with food preparation, support chefs during service, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and help ensure smooth operations while learning new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation and mise en place to ensure readiness for service
• Prepare ingredients accurately according to recipes and portioning standards
• Support chefs during service by assisting with cooking and plating tasks
• Help with food presentation to maintain quality and appeal
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment
• Wash and clean kitchen equipment as needed to ensure operational readiness
• Store ingredients properly following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices to minimize waste
• Assist with stock replenishment and perform general kitchen duties to support team efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely service delivery

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Previous café or restaurant experience to contribute practical kitchen knowledge
• Interest in cooking or working with food to enhance engagement and performance
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays to support business needs
• Willingness to commit to additional shifts during busy periods to meet demand
