Specialized Lending Consultant

For our client in the banking industry were looking for a Specialized Lending Consultant.

Assignment:

• Our client is looking for an experienced consultant to support the creation of a group-wide definition, identification, and classification logic for Specialized Lending exposures in accordance with CRR Articles 147(8) and 122a.
• The definition and classification logic will support operational implementation for the identification of Specialized Lending transactions, as well as the creation of the current Specialized Lending population.
• The selected consultant is expected to bring industry benchmarks from similar work performed in SSM banks, including rule-based classification logic covering both the IRB and Standardized Approach.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Specialized Lending.
• Knowledge of Specialized Lending identification practices applied by European and Nordic banks, particularly within:
• Shipping finance, Real estate finance & Infrastructure finance
• Knowledge and understanding of CRR and other regulatory requirements relevant to Specialized Lending.
• Experience covering both the IRB and Standardized Approach.
• Understanding of banking processes and operating model.
