Senior Water Resources Engineer
Key Responsibilities Include: Coordinating and collaborating with senior leaders on client management and strategic business development for water resources engineering services within Western Missouri and Kansas.
Driving efforts to expand the water resources engineering services in the region.
Pursuing new business opportunities through relationships, professional organizations, etc.
Providing leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for junior staff.
Generating project proposals and participating in project interviews in coordination with marketing staff and senior leadership.
Serving as a project manager on a variety of water resources projects.
Developing project goals, scopes of work, and budgets to guide project activities.
Producing high-quality deliverables and providing QC/QA.
Keeping abreast of emerging trends in the industry.
As opportunities and demands present themselves, this role may perform other responsibilities related to the position.
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a closely related field
Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri and/or Kansas
Extensive water resources engineering experience with a proven ability to lead projects and consistently deliver high-quality results
Strong interest in driving client engagement and pursuing new business opportunities
Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills
Valid Driver's License
