WELDER (GOV)

Performs welding and metal fabrication tasks for the construction, repair, and maintenance of government buildings, facilities, equipment, and other structures. Cuts, assembles, and welds metal parts using appropriate tools and equipment based on approved plans and specifications. Checks welded joints to ensure their quality, strength, and durability. Maintains welding tools and equipment in proper working condition, follows safety procedures, and performs other related duties as assigned.
