A specialist B2B conference organiser operating across three life sciences brands, where they are making a deliberate shift toward fewer, larger conferences. As Event Senior Conference Producer, you will have accessible senior leadership on a portfolio that is growing in scale year on year.

The Role

The Event Senior Conference Producer owns the content strategy, leading a team of producers while building agendas, recruiting senior speakers and shaping a portfolio that spans large international conferences in the USA and Europe.

• Own the full conference production cycle from research through to on-site delivery
• Recruit senior speakers from pharma, biotech, academic and technology organisations
• Build agendas across presentations, panels, roundtables and C-suite sessions
• Line-manage and develop a conference producer with clear objectives
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and sponsorship teams on commercial goals
• Identify new event and portfolio opportunities from delegate feedback and market activity
• Attend and lead on-site delivery at UK, European and US events

The Candidate

The right Event Senior Conference Producer has a strong track record in B2B conference production, with genuine depth in content-led events and experience recruiting senior speakers for complex, multi-stream programmes. You will have managed or mentored producers and be ready to take full ownership of a team.

A background in life sciences events, particularly drug discovery or pharma R&D, is highly beneficial, as is the ability to translate complex scientific topics for senior audiences. Above all, this role suits someone ready to lead.
