Daycare director

*Job Overview* We are seeking a qualified and motivated Level 3 Director to lead the day today operations of our growing Daycare Center Little Legend Childcare. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced childhood educator and leader who is passionate about providing high quality care, education and nurturing environment for children.

*Key* *responsibilities*

• Manage and complete all licensing and compliance paperwork.
• Oversee the day today operations of the daycare.
• Handle calls and inquiries from current and prospective families using the Daycare's designated phone line.
• Ensure continued licensing compliance, staff management, program oversight and parent engagement.
• Supervise and engage with children in a classroom setting, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide caregiving support, including assistance with meals, hygiene, and daily routines.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social interaction among children.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.

*Requirements*

• Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education with at least 2 years in a leadership or director level role.
• Strong caregiving skills, with the ability to educate and nurture children's growth.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) prior to employment.

*Compensation*

$18-20 per hour
