Metal ship hull fitter

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:
- Precise Cutting skills of MS and Alloy Steels using Oxy-Acetylene Cutter
- Understand and Interpret block fabrication / Hull Erection drawings. Should be capable for working independently with the drawings and work
instructions
- Be capable to align Steel structures / plates varying from thickness 4 mm to 35 mm
- Perform FCAW welding for Tack weld
- Knowledge of using power tools, Hydraulic jacks
- Understanding of safe working methods
- Able to use Plumb, levels and measurement devices
- Capable of working at heights and confined spaces
- Knowledge of remote operated Overhead cranes will be added advantage
Our expectations:
- At least 12 months of experience in ship fitting.
- Availability to move to another worksite if needed.
