*Job Summary*
Liquid Edge is seeking a skilled *Heavy Equipment Mechanic* to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tractor trailer (tanker) units. The ideal candidate will have experience working with *Peterbilt*, *Kenworth*, and *Cummins* equipment.
Applicants must be comfortable using a tablet to run diagnostic tests and complete job documentation. A valid driver?s license is required. This role demands strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
This is an employee position. Tools are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
- Identify required parts and tools for repairs
- Complete shop paperwork and documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
- Experience with tanker/tractor trailer units preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Heavy equipment operation experience (asset)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver?s license
- Comfortable using digital diagnostic tools and tablets
