Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the sales team to achieve company sales targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, builders, suppliers, and other construction industry clients.
Promote and sell construction related services to new and existing customers.
Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads, enquiries, quotations, and sales orders.
Prepare and negotiate quotations, pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with customers.
Visit construction sites and meet project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and contractors to understand project requirements.
Monitor ongoing construction projects and identify opportunities for product upcoming projects.
Coordinate with the warehouse, purchasing, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Monitor sales performance, prepare sales reports, and provide regular updates to management.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and after-sales service to maintain good customer relationships.
Track market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements within the construction sector.
To lead a team of workers and ensure that work is done in accordance to drawings, schedule and within budget.
To co-ordinate work with sub-contractors
Supervise the construction activities and progress, monitor work schedule according to the work program
Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management
To plan and coordinate for daily site usage on machinery and construction material.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, preferably within the construction, building materials, engineering, or related industry.
Experience supervising or leading a sales team is preferred.
Experience dealing with contractors, developers, construction companies, suppliers, and project managers.
Additional certificates or licenses will be considered as further advantage
Able to work longer hours. Must work on weekends/PH. Strictly off on week days
Have the ability to work under pressure
Must have knowledge in AutoCAD, 3D drawings and Revit software
Able to read and understand construction drawings from all trades (e.g. archi, c&s, M&e, ect)
Must have strong problem-solving skills
Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects
Great leadership and organization skill
Willing to learn and challenging new things and multi-tasking
Can work independently with minimal supervision.
Candidate with a Building Construction Safety Supervisors (BCSS)/ Supervise Construction Work in Workplace Safety and Health Certificate would be an advantage.
