Navigation Electronics Technician (M/F)

Our agency LIP Intérim La Rochelle is looking for a Navigation Electronics Technician (M/F) for its client: a company specializing in navigation systems, radiocommunication, and maritime cybersecurity.

Within the team based in La Rochelle: You will work on systems essential to the safety and performance of vessels in France as well as internationally. Following the instructions of the site manager, you will carry out technical interventions and troubleshooting in compliance with deadlines and current regulations.

Your missions:

• Install, configure, and commission navigation electronics systems
• Diagnose faults, repair, or replace defective components
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of navigation installations
• Write technical reports and intervention reports (often in English)

As a guarantor of the company's image, you will apply hygiene and safety instructions and alert hierarchical managers in case of major issues.

Working conditions:

• National travel (regular) and international travel (occasional) to be expected
• Contract type: CDI - 35 hours per week
• Start date: as soon as possible

Holder of a BTS Électronique (or higher level), you ideally have at least two years of experience in a maritime environment. You have a level of technical English and master navigation electronic measuring devices, as well as IT tools. You have knowledge in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of electronic systems (motivated beginners accepted). You understand communication protocols such as NMEA and know how to read and interpret technical diagrams. Organized, rigorous, and autonomous, you demonstrate adaptability, team spirit, and a true sense of service. You know how to work under pressure while respecting demanding deadlines.
