THE POSITION:
OCCASIONAL INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL
Our client is an industrial company specializing in the design and manufacture of complex equipment intended for the heavy industry sector.
Within the Design Office, you will intervene across the entire project cycle, from design and development to testing, commissioning at client sites, and technical support.
YOUR MISSIONS:
- Analyze client needs and specifications
- Design and program Siemens / TIA Portal PLCs (S7-1200 / S7-1500)
- Develop supervision systems and HMIs (WinCC, AVEVA Intouch)
- Develop software in C / C++ as well as analysis tools in Python
- Implement regulation systems and exploit data from sensors
- Develop and configure industrial communications: Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA
- Manage and monitor subcontractors, particularly internationally
- Perform workshop testing
- Participate in equipment commissioning at client sites abroad
- Provide technical support and analyze potential malfunctions
- Write technical documentation in English
YOUR PROFILE
- Engineering degree or equivalent in automation, industrial computing, or electrical engineering
- 3 to 8 years of experience in a design office or at an industrial equipment integrator
- Mastery of Siemens TIA Portal
- Good skills in C / C++ and Python
- Good knowledge of industrial networks and protocols
- Professional English is essential
- Autonomy, rigor, curiosity, and a taste for technical and international industrial environments
Experience in the fields of steelmaking, power electronics, EMC, or in managing service providers would be a plus.
