• Co-ordinate the work of camera operators and other technical staff.
• Identify and list the necessary props required for performances.
• Supervise staff.
• Set up, operate and make repairs to light and other electrical equipment.
• Design and co-ordinate special effects such as fire, explosion and crashes.
• Apply cosmetic and special effects make-up to performers.
• Oversee the acquisition, fitting and maintenance of costumes and wardrobes.
• Prepare radio and television schedules.
• Schedule and oversee rehearsals.
• Assist in preparing the construction specifications for sets.
