Automation Engineer (PLC / SCADA)
Your tasks
- Design and develop automation and monitoring systems using controllers, PLC, and HMI to meet client specifications and operational requirements
- Conduct on-site testing and commissioning of automation systems to ensure functionality and compliance with project standards
- Collaborate effectively with external parties including end-users, consultants, and contractors to align project objectives and resolve technical issues
- Deliver training sessions and provide technical support to users to facilitate smooth system operation and adoption
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation to support system maintenance and future upgrades
Requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), or Automation
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of SCADA systems, PLC, and HMI technologies
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/Modbus TCP and SNMP
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and wiring
- Preferably 1-3 years of relevant experience in automation system design and implementation
