About the job

We are looking for a teaching assistant to support course modules in Cybersecurity for Business. Cybersecurity for Business introduces students to cybersecurity from a business and organizational perspective. The course module covers central concepts within cybersecurity, threats and risks, security measures, risk management, and governance, with a particular focus on how cybersecurity affects organizations and their operations.

The work involves supporting the development and implementation of the course module. Tasks may include, among others:

Assisting in the development, supervision, and evaluation of laboratory exercises, assignments, and projects, Supporting students in matters concerning laboratory exercises, projects, and other course activities, Assisting the course coordinator/teacher with preparations and administration of teaching activities, and Other related tasks based on the needs of the course module.

About you

To be employed as a teaching assistant, you must be admitted to higher education at the undergraduate or advanced level.

We are looking for someone who has relevant knowledge and an interest in cybersecurity.

We want you to have:

Relevant knowledge or experience in cybersecurity or information security. Good knowledge of English, both oral and written.

It is meritorious if you have:

Previous experience in teaching, laboratory exercises, student projects, or supervision. Ongoing studies at Linköpings universitet.

About the employment

The employment is fixed-term during the period December 2026 to June 2027 and the scope is 20-30 percent of full-time. Start date according to agreement.

Employment as a teaching assistant is regulated in Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance.

Salary and benefits

Salary according to LiU's central agreement on teaching assistant salaries. The current teaching assistant salary at Linköpings universitet is 26,350 SEK per month for full-time work.
