Senior Internal Audit
1- Execute risk-based internal audit assignments covering financial, operational, and compliance processes.
2- Perform walkthroughs and assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
3- Develop and execute audit programs based on identified risks and key control objectives.
4- Perform substantive and analytical testing and evaluate supporting documentation.
5- Identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and potential financial, operational, and compliance risks. 6- Prepare clear and well-supported audit findings, including Condition, Criteria, Cause, Risk/Impact, and Recommendations. 7- Discuss audit observations with process owners and obtain management responses and agreed action plans.
8- Follow up on outstanding audit recommendations and assess the effectiveness of corrective actions.
9-Perform data analysis and exception testing to identify unusual transactions, trends, and potential red flags.
10- Participate in inventory counts, cash counts, and other special audit assignments when required.
11-Support management and the Internal Audit Manager in ad-hoc reviews and investigations.
12- Maintain complete and well-organized audit working papers in accordance with Internal Audit methodology and professional standards.
13- Prepare audit reports and communicate key observations to the Internal Audit Manager.
14- Contribute to the annual risk assessment and development of the risk-based Internal Audit Plan.
- 5–6 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk, or related assurance functions.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or large-scale organization is preferred.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and audit methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Good command of MS Excel; experience with ERP systems and data analytics tools is an advantage.
- CIA, CPA, or other relevant professional certification is an advantage.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
