Assistant Engineer
About the role
Linkmet Controls Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Engineer to join our team in the Pandan Loop Region. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their engineering expertise whilst contributing to meaningful projects. This role provides an ideal stepping stone for an aspiring engineer looking to build a solid foundation in mechanical engineering.
What you'll be doing
- Provide in-house engineering support to sales team and customers.
- Product sizing and selection of product
- Prepare and generate quotations for sales team
- Prepare and maintain accurate Technical Documentations
- Liaise with overseas principals
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics or related field. Candidates with NiTEC can be considered too. Those with no working experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong Proficiency in MS Office (Words, Excel & Powerpoint). Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Basic AutoCAD will be useful.
- Experience in inside sales will be considered an advantage
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
