Senior Product Owner

The backlog is not the problem. The question behind the question is. A full backlog is not a vision. A roadmap is not a strategy. And a sprint review is not impact. As a Senior Product Owner, you know that. You have seen the complex environments, the political stakeholders, the systems with twenty years of technical debt. You are not looking for a position where you just fill hours. You are looking for an environment that keeps you sharp.

The challenge At LINKIT, you will work as a Senior Product Owner on assignment at organizations where complexity is high: ministries, large corporates, data-intensive environments where one wrong prioritization results in months of delay. You are the link between strategy and delivery, between the management that wants direction and the team that must make that direction executable.

In practice, this means you are ultimately responsible for the backlog, prioritization, and roadmap, and that you take that responsibility even when stakeholders have conflicting interests. You translate abstract organizational goals into concrete product choices. You steer based on value and compliance, on speed and continuity. And you leave teams and products structurally better than you found them.

You will become an employee of LINKIT and work on assignment for clients in sectors such as government, finance, and logistics. The technology, environment, and priorities of the environments change; the expectation that you take ownership does not.

Your place At LINKIT, we work in squads; these are our expertise teams. Every two weeks there is the club day: all Explorers return to the head office in De Meern on Friday for knowledge sessions, deepening expertise, and connection. Up to 10% of your working time is dedicated to learning and growing, not as an afterthought but as part of how LINKIT works.

What we ask

• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in complex IT environments.
• Demonstrable Agile/Scrum experience; SAFe is a strong plus.
• PSPO I and PSPO II certification (additional certifications are a plus).
• Experience within enterprise organizations, government, or infra environments.
• Affinity with data-intensive environments and a general understanding of architecture, integrations, migrations, security, and compliance.
• Completed HBO education.
• Professional command of Dutch and English.

What you get

• Salary between €6,000-€7,500 per month (based on 40 hours, depending on knowledge & experience) + 8% holiday allowance.
• Annual profit sharing and pension scheme (50% premium paid by us or extra salary).

• Every two weeks on Friday, all colleagues return to our head office in De Meern, where we invest up to 10% of your working time in knowledge sharing, learning, and connecting (we call this the club day).
