What your activities will be;

As a Senior Software Engineer at Artefact, you will be a key piece of our technology team, actively contributing to the design, development, and evolution of complex web applications that support our data and insights projects across multiple industries. You will act in collaboration with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Analytical Consulting teams, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and integrated with our clients' real needs. In addition to developing, you will be a technical reference, helping to define standards and best practices within the team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development of web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React and Next.js, prioritizing clean architecture, reuse, and performance.
• Designing and implementing data integration solutions with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB), focusing on efficiency and scalability.
• Managing and optimizing cloud applications, configuring authentication, security, and continuous deploys across multiple cloud providers, such as Azure, GCP, and AWS.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams: transforming data models and algorithms into visual solutions and interactive products.
• Defining software architecture and technical standards, promoting DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and versioning (Git, Docker, Kubernetes) best practices.
• Mentoring developers of different levels, promoting technical growth and collaboration.
• Contributing strategically to product decisions, exploring new technologies, and ensuring the quality and sustainability of solutions.

What we are looking for;

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid experience (+5 years): in web development with React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Mastery of SQL and NoSQL databases, with skills in modeling, query optimization, and performance.
• Advanced experience in the cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including authentication, pipelines, service integration, and observability.
• Practical experience with DevOps and CI/CD, use of Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration tools.
• Architectural vision and the ability to make strategic technical decisions.
• Fluent English (for interaction with international teams and clients).
