What your activities will be;

As a Software Engineer at Artefact, you will be part of our technology team, which aims to develop web applications that meet the process needs and information visualizations of our clients across various industries. In this context, you will have the chance to work independently and in collaboration with our specialist teams in Data Consulting, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering. Your activities will be performed exclusively for the company, allowing you to be in constant contact with real client issues and acquire deep knowledge in web development within the context of data consulting.

Your main functions will include;

• Developing web applications using JavaScript: Implement responsive user interfaces and reusable components using JavaScript and TypeScript best practices. React and Next.js are differentiators.
• Integration with databases: Design and implement data storage solutions, integrating with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Azure Cosmos DB.
• Managing cloud applications: Configure authentication and security systems, host and manage web applications, integrate applications with cloud services such as data pipelines, storage systems, and other services offered by cloud services, such as Azure.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration: Work together with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to integrate algorithms and data visualizations into applications.
• Architecture and optimization: Participate in defining application architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security, as well as optimizing code for maximum efficiency.

What we are looking for;

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in web development: Proficiency in React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Databases: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, ability to design efficient database schemas and perform complex queries.
• Knowledge of cloud applications: Experience configuring security and user authentication systems on cloud platforms; familiarity with hosting and managing applications in the cloud; skill in integrating applications with cloud services such as data pipelines, authentication systems, and storage.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Knowledge of DevOps practices, including configuring CI/CD pipelines, version management with Git, and the use of containers with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Fluent English
