Maintenance Technician – 1-Year Contract

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of production machinery, equipment and plant facilities within a manufacturing environment. Candidates should have prior hands-on experience in repairing, troubleshooting and servicing production machinery and equipment .

Key Responsibilities Maintain production machinery, equipment and plant facilities. Perform troubleshooting, repair and servicing of production machinery and equipment. Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Maintain preventive maintenance programmes for production equipment and plant facilities. Perform daily start-up of production and facilities machinery. Fabricate jigs and fixtures to support manufacturing processes. Attend to minor repair requests from other departments. Maintain and update maintenance work orders, TPM downtime records, compressor operating hours, hot work permits and equipment checklists. Support the upkeep of facilities services, including air-conditioning, sprinkler protection systems, plumbing, power and lighting. Conduct weekly Single Point Training for production operators.

Requirements NITEC / NTC certification, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline . Relevant hands-on experience in machinery and equipment repair and maintenance within a manufacturing environment . Experience in troubleshooting and servicing production machinery and equipment. Familiar with preventive maintenance activities. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Able to work overtime when required based on operational needs.
