Transition Manager

Your tasks

We are looking for a hands-on Transition Manager to drive the end-to-end setup and launch of a brand-new Shared Service Center (SSC). In this role, you will lead the operational build-up of the local entity while steering process migrations and knowledge transfer initiatives. Working side by side with local leadership and international business leaders, you will ensure a seamless transition from greenfield phase to full operational capability.

• Center Setup & Operational Readiness
• Entity & Facility Launch: Oversee day-to-day establishment activities, including office space preparation, fit-out coordination, and legal entity administrative support.
• Public Grants & Funding: Assist in preparing, filing, and managing local public funding and grant documentation.
• Talent Ramp-Up: Partner with talent acquisition teams to guide early recruitment, team onboarding, and general operational readiness.
• Service Migration & Project Governance
• Transition Execution: Design and execute detailed migration roadmaps, managing timelines, critical paths, risk logs, and interdependencies.
• Knowledge Transfer: Lead knowledge capture strategies and process handovers from legacy locations.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary bridge connecting project execution teams with executive SSC leadership.
• Reporting & Tracking: Maintain transparent progress updates, status dashboards, and ongoing alignment across all project governance levels.

• On-time delivery of facility readiness and operational infrastructure.
• Seamless execution of knowledge transfer and process migration milestones.
• High engagement and successful onboarding of initial SSC cohorts.
• Strong cross-functional alignment and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the build-up.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Shared Services Expertise: Strong track record as a Transition or Migration Manager within SSC, GBS, or BPO organizations.
• Migration Delivery: Proven ability to scope, plan, and execute end-to-end process transfers and operational transitions.
• Greenfield Exposure: Prior involvement in new center setups, operational launches, or greenfield transformations.
• Project & Stakeholder Management: Excellent organizational capabilities with a knack for navigating fast-moving, high-growth environments.
• Language Skills: Professional proficiency in both Polish and English (German language skills are a strong plus).

Desirable Background (Nice to Have)

• Hands-on experience navigating Polish government grant or funding application processes.
• Previous exposure to corporate entity incorporation and local administrative setup.
• Advisory background in management consulting, corporate restructuring, or business transformation.
