About the company

We are seeking an elite, highly skilled Senior Java Full-Stack Specialist to join our dedicated technical team. In this hands-on Subject Matter Expert (SME) role, you will act as a high-impact problem solver deployed across enterprise programs to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical technical bottlenecks, system defects, and architectural challenges.

Your tasks

This position focuses purely on technical mastery, code-level execution, and cross-team problem resolution—without administrative people-management responsibilities.

  • High-Priority Incident & Problem Resolution: Serve as a core technical expert within the SWAT unit, diagnosing and resolving high-severity technical issues, integration blockers, and operational bugs across complex enterprise systems.
  • Hands-on Full-Stack Engineering: Write, refactor, and review clean, maintainable code across modern Java backends and modern JavaScript frontend frameworks (Angular/React).
  • System Modernization & Architecture: Support architectural discussions, microservices design, and continuous system modernization efforts across core enterprise platforms.
  • Proactive Risk Mitigation: Analyze system performance, dependencies, and code pipelines to identify potential bottlenecks and vulnerabilities before they impact production.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional development squads, architects, and DevOps engineers to streamline delivery and align technical integrations.
  • AI-Assisted SDLC Optimization: Leverage cutting-edge AI coding tools, copilot extensions, and automated frameworks to accelerate software delivery, debugging, and testing.

Requirements

Core Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on commercial experience engineering web-based applications across Java backends and modern frontends.
  • Core Backend Stack: Advanced proficiency in Java (Java 17/21/25), Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.
  • Frontend Expertise: Solid practical experience with Angular or React.js (proficiency in both is strongly preferred).
  • APIs & Integration: Extensive background in building and consuming REST APIs and legacy SOAP web services.
  • Database Management: Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database systems (MS SQL Server preferred).
  • Cloud & DevOps: Practical experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure DevOps, Cosmos DB, Application Insights) and modern CI/CD deployment pipelines (GitHub, Git).
  • AI Tooling: Demonstrated experience applying AI-driven tools and agentic practices within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Education & Languages: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Fluent business English (spoken and written).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire core platforms.
  • Message broker experience using Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Exposure to Jutro Digital Platform (JDP) or similar enterprise frontend frameworks.
  • Official certifications in Java, Spring, SQL, or Azure Cloud.
