Data Visualization Developer

Daily tasks

• Develop, test and publish interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud
• Connect Tableau to various data sources and prepare data for visualization
• Write SQL queries and perform data modeling, cleaning and transformation
• Optimize dashboard performance and Tableau extracts
• Troubleshoot data and dashboard-related issues
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective visual solutions
• Apply data visualization and storytelling best practices

Requirements

2–5+ years of professional experience in data visualization or Business Intelligence Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep and Tableau Server/Cloud Strong SQL skills Experience with relational databases or data warehouses, such as BigQuery Good understanding of UI/UX principles and data visualization best practices Ability to create clear and engaging data stories Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related quantitative field Good communication and teamwork skills Nice to have Python or R programming skills Experience with Spotfire
