General Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's daily operations, administration and workforce management.
• Manage construction and civil engineering projects, including schedule, quality, cost and safety.
• Liaise with clients, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities.
• Lead business development, client acquisition and new project opportunities , including tenders and commercial negotiations.
• Manage project contracts, procurement, subcontracting and cost control.
• Supervise employees and site teams, including manpower planning and performance.
• Ensure company and project activities comply with relevant Singapore construction, safety and manpower regulations.
• Report business and project performance to the Directors and support the company's business strategy.

Requirements

• Fluent in both English and Chinese , with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction and civil engineering , including construction methods and technical requirements.
• Relevant management experience in construction, civil engineering or a related industry.
• Strong business development, client management and commercial negotiation skills.
• Experience in project management, cost control, contract and subcontractor management.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the Singapore construction industry and relevant regulations will be an advantage.
• Experience in foundation works, bored piling, civil engineering or major construction projects will be an advantage.
