Head of Facade Design Department (aGw*) (Engineer - Construction)

Your new challenges:

• Creation and participation in annual planning (resources & budget) as well as overall resource utilization
• Development of innovative solutions for modern "advanced engineered" structures
• Monitoring and execution of internal and external planning
• Assumption of personnel responsibility within the design/construction department
• Ensuring compliance with contractual planning foundations (plans and specifications)
• Development and drawing of competitive solutions
• Participation in the decision regarding construction type (system/conventional construction)
• Review and evaluation of technical, economic, and temporal feasibility
• Securing market-oriented constructions as well as uniform quality standards ("factory standards")
• Responsibility for ensuring uniform process flows and guidelines according to QM specifications as well as continuous coordination between the various planning teams
• Coordination of technical and economic feasibility with the manufacturers

Your strong profile:

• Completed technical studies (Univ. / FH) e.g., civil engineering with a focus on facade technology
• Detailed specialist knowledge as well as pronounced technical expertise in structural engineering
• Confident handling of and familiarity with planning foundations, specifications, and standards
• Sound judgment and imagination
• Several years of experience in the steel/glass/membrane/construction industry
• Specialist knowledge of workflows and processes in project business
• International project experience
• Strong sense of responsibility regarding employees and costs
• Personnel leadership competence for employees and teams
• Organizational skills and planning thinking
• Business fluent English skills
