Global Supply Chain Excellence Manager (m/f/d) Development Perspective

The position offers dedicated young professionals an excellent development opportunity within our global Supply Chain Management. Through close cooperation with the Global Head of SCM, international project responsibility, and the building of expertise in Process Excellence and VDA 6.8, you will create the foundation for a further specialist or leadership career within our international company.

YOUR TASKS

As part of our global Supply Chain Management team, you will support the Global Head of SCM in the further development of our international supply chain organization. You will design globally uniform processes and standards and drive the continuous improvement of our logistics organization in our international production plants.

• Establishment, standardization, and continuous further development of global supply chain processes and standards across all production plants.
• Leading and participating in international SCM projects to optimize processes, structures, and performance.
• Development and implementation of Best Practices as well as Lean and Operational Excellence methods within the global Supply Chain.
• Planning, execution, and monitoring of internal logistics audits according to VDA 6.8, as well as support during customer and certification audits (training to become an internal VDA 6.8 auditor will be supported).
• Close cooperation with the logistics organizations of the worldwide plants, as well as consulting and support in the implementation of global standards.
• Analysis of logistical key figures, identification of improvement potential, and derivation of sustainable measures.

YOUR PROFILE

• Successfully completed studies in the field of Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
• Initial professional experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Process Management, or Operational Excellence – ideally in the automotive industry is an advantage.
• Supply Chain Management know-how is desirable.
• ERP knowledge is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Sound MS-Office skills.
• High willingness to travel required.
• Communication, moderation, and presentation skills.
• Team spirit, reliability, and flexibility.
