Accounting Assistant RTR Sr

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant RTR SR with experience in accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial analysis, capable of ensuring the integrity of accounting records and contributing to the timely fulfillment of closing processes and financial reporting.

The position will have a key role within the Record to Report (RTR) team, participating in monthly closing activities, account reconciliation, internal audits, and continuous process improvement, guaranteeing reliable and timely financial information for the operation.

Main responsibilities

• Process and record accounting entries.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations.
• Execute activities related to the monthly accounting close according to the established calendar.
• Follow up on vendor assignments and reconciliations.
• Review and analyze accounting accounts to ensure their correct integration.
• Participate in internal audits and financial controls.
• Update process documentation and procedures.
• Process information in electronic systems and ensure compliance with established SLAs.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives within the financial area.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in accounting positions.
• Language: Advanced English.
• Microsoft Excel Intermediate (pivot tables, handling large volumes of data, and advanced formulas).
• Analytical capacity and orientation toward problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
