Frontend Development Engineer(Full-Stack)

Your tasks

• Maintenance and development of the Web-based AIoT Platform and related application software for the local Business Unit (BU), covering desktop, tablet, and mobile applications.
• Execute on-site system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution at local BU facilities; provide real-time feedback and technical escalation/support to the R&D Center.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with local BU departments to ensure the successful deployment and launch of AIoT platform features.
• Drive the integration of factory automation systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and equipment interfaces within local BUs.
• Maintain server-side application deployments supporting the local BU’s AIoT platform.
• Assist the Smart Manufacturing R&D Center with the deployment, testing and rollout of new systems.
• Perform UI/UX modifications, visualization enhancements, and front-end deployments for local BU web interfaces.
• Liaise and coordinate with our Business Unit in Taiwan and China on all matters in their native language.

Requirements

• Degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Application with minimum 1 year working experience in a manufacturing industry or factory AIoT system maintenance.
• Proficient in programming languages including Python, JavaScript, Java, HBuilderX, C++, and C.
• Proficient in development and application of FastAPI and Flask API framework.
• Proficient with remote access tools(Anydesk) and collaboration platforms(Microsoft Team).
• Skill in leveraging AI productivity tools (ChapGPT, Gemini) and open-source platforms (GitHub).
• Hands-on experience with relational database such as MySQL and SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in web development frameworks such as Djiango and Flask.
• Strong visual design aesthetics and keen attention to detail for web UI and data visualization layout design.
• Strong interest and passion for IoT applications and technology.
• A good team player who possesses drive, resourceful, initiative and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills with ability to interact with BU in China & Taiwan.
• Positive and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced business environment
