We are looking for an Analyst, Strategy to join our team at Lightspeed. In this role, you will contribute to corporate and business strategy initiatives by conducting analyses, developing strategic insights, and helping teams make data-driven decisions. As Lightspeed embarks on its next growth phase and a multi-year transformation, you will help define and support key strategic priorities across the company.

The ideal person possesses an excellent strategic sense, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with different teams in a dynamic environment.

What you will do:

• Support corporate and business strategy initiatives through research, analysis, and the development of strategic insights, including contributing to annual strategic planning and regular strategic review cycles

• Break down complex business problems and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses

• Design models, synthesize data, and prepare documents to support decision-making at the executive level

• Contribute to the development of profitability analyses, plans, and recommendations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and support the implementation of key initiatives

• Contribute to tracking the progress and performance of initiatives based on key milestones and objectives

What you bring:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as great attention to detail

• The ability to structure problems and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment

• Comfort working with data and transforming analytical results into clear and relevant findings

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• The ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and functions

• A proactive approach, a willingness to learn, and the ability to take ownership of your responsibilities

• As an international company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, proficiency in English as a working language is required for this position.

It would be an asset, but is not essential:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, finance, or a related field

• Experience within structured problem-solving mandates (e.g., strategy, operations, or transformation projects)

• Internship or early-career experience involving data analysis and business problem-solving

• Experience in the SaaS, fintech, or other technology-driven environments
