LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Lighthouse Testing Services Pte Ltd is looking for a Lab Technician / Lab Analyst to join our laboratory team.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing and analysis of samples according to established procedures and standards.
- Prepare samples, reagents, equipment, and instruments required for testing.
- Operate laboratory instruments and equipment properly and safely.
- Record test results accurately and maintain proper laboratory documentation.
- Ensure testing is carried out in accordance with laboratory procedures and quality requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping within the laboratory.
- Assist with calibration, verification, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and samples.
- Assist with other laboratory duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Management.
Requirements
- Minimum NITEC / Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Able to follow laboratory procedures and work instructions carefully.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in recording results.
- Responsible, organized, and willing to learn.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
- Candidates with experience in petroleum, marine fuel, oil, water, or chemical testing will have an advantage.
- Able and willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including day and night shifts as required.
