Patient Service Associate

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high-quality patient care.
- Perform administrative and operational duties, including patient registration, payments, appointment scheduling, financial counselling, insurance and Medisave claims, stock management, etc.
- Respond to and follow up on enquiries related to imaging services via telephone, email and walk-ins etc.
- Maintain and develop existing and new patients through planned marketing efforts.
- Maintain a computerised patient and prospects database.
- Assist with basic market research, competitor monitoring, and patient feedback surveys to support service improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the centre's imaging services and workflows to provide accurate information to patients and stakeholders.
- Provide operational support to the Centre Operations Manager, including coordination of daily activities and ad-hoc operational tasks.
- Organise and prioritise own workload effectively to ensure provision of quality service.
- Maintain accurate, complete and timely records in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures.
- Recognise when colleagues need assistance and offer practical support.
- Perform duties in a manner that minimises risks to the health, safety and security of self and others, and supports others in maintaining health, safety and security.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, leaving them in a suitable condition for subsequent use.
- Ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times and access to patient related information (either electronic or paper based) is restricted to the needs of work.
- Carry out activities that are consistent and in compliance with applicable external legislations, regulations, etc., and internal policies, procedures, etc.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or any other responsibilities and assignments as assigned by the Management.
Requirements:
- Has 1-2 years of experience in healthcare industry.
- Experience working in a specialist clinic setting.
- Able to work in fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy
- Good interpersonal skills, a good team player and has good time management skills.
- Willing to learn and ability to adapt are key attributes for this role.
5.5-day work week: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm; Saturday, 8.30am–12.30pm (closed on Sundays)
