Head of Quality Assurance (m/f/d) (Project Engineer)

Your tasks:

• Preparation and support of certifications & audits (IFS, customer audits) and execution of internal audits
• Maintenance and further development of the internal quality management system as the IFS representative for the site
• Coordination, execution, and evaluation of quality inspections
• Processing of complaints
• Ensuring appropriate cleaning specifications and conducting hygiene inspections
• Creation of evaluations and reports on all quality topics, derivation of improvement potential, and verification of the effectiveness of measures
• Responsible for training measures on all relevant QA topics
• Promotion of the food safety and quality culture at the site
• Leading, motivating, evaluating, and developing the subordinate employees

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of food technology or comparable areas and related disciplines, or food technician with additional vocational training as a baker/master baker
• Several years of professional experience in the quality assurance of a food manufacturing company, incl. experience in personnel leadership
• Extensive knowledge of IFS Food, HACCP, hygiene, and relevant food law
• Experience in the field of microbiology
• Understanding of bakery processes
• Practical approach as well as responsible action and independent working
• English skills
• Good MS-Office and SAP knowledge
• Commitment and a strong-communicating personality round off your profile

• An attractive monthly remuneration between 6,000 - 6,100 €/gross according to the collective agreement of the German Bread and Bakery Industry plus annual special payment.
