Lead-Buyer Group (m/f/d) (Head of Purchasing)

Liebherr-Purchasing Services GmbH, based in Biberach der Riß, acts as an internal service provider, undertaking the purchasing organization and coordination for the Liebherr Group. Additionally, the company is responsible for, among other things, the central areas of logistics, industrial construction, central purchasing of steel and construction, and the Liebherr-Shop.

Creating the Fascinating: Your Tasks

• Planning, controlling, and implementing measures in accordance with the group-wide procurement strategy
• Identification, selection, and development of new suppliers
• Planning and conducting negotiations on terms as well as continuous optimization of general contract, delivery, and payment terms
• Conception, implementation, and monitoring of cost reduction and efficiency programs
• Further development and optimization of the existing supplier base
• Management of defined material groups, including identification of savings potential and portfolio consolidation
• Creation of inquiries and conducting of quotation comparisons as well as price and value analyses
• Maintenance and administration of E-Procurement catalogs and prices
• Contact person for purchasing as well as interface to specialist departments and E-Procurement users

Contributing Strengths: Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed commercial or technical vocational training
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or project management
• Strong analytical skills as well as a good understanding of technical contexts
• Experience in energy procurement (electricity, gas) as well as in the marketing of PV electricity
• Knowledge of E-Procurement; experience with BaaN/Infor LN is an advantage
• Very good user knowledge of common MS-Office applications
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Strong teamwork skills combined with assertiveness and persuasiveness
• Systematic, structured, and careful way of working
