Project Specialist Global Customs & Trade Compliance with focus on USA & FTZ (m/f/d)

Liebherr-Logistics GmbH, based in Kirchdorf an der Iller, is responsible for the worldwide spare parts logistics of various Liebherr product divisions. To this end, Liebherr-Logistics GmbH operates a state-of-the-art logistics center covering over 47,000 m² for the shipment of Liebherr original parts. Creating fascination: Your tasks

• Management and active control of international key projects in the field of customs and foreign trade
• Establishment of a new US location within a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) including planning, implementation, and integration of all FTZ-relevant processes into the system landscape
• Technical co-responsibility during the introduction of SAP S/4HANA as well as the integration and customizing of the trade compliance system MIC
• Development of global standards, guidelines, and process specifications as well as their international rollout
• Harmonization and standardization of customs and foreign trade processes across multiple countries and locations
• Monitoring, analysis, and continuous optimization of global import and export processes
• Establishment and further development of global processes in the area of origin of goods and preferences
• Harmonization and ensuring the data quality of customs-relevant master data (especially tariff classification, origin of goods, and export control classification)
• Ensuring compliance with international export control regulations (EU, USA - especially EAR and OFAC)
• Support and technical accompaniment of internal and external audits in the field of customs and export control

Contributing strengths: Your qualifications

• Completed training as Speditionskaufmann / Industriekaufmann (m/f/d), ideally with further training as Zollfachwirt / Verkehrsfachwirt (m/f/d) or comparable qualifications
• Several years of professional experience in international customs and foreign trade law
• Sound knowledge of EU and US customs law as well as in the area of Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)
• Experience in handling SAP (ideally S/4HANA) as well as trade compliance solutions such as MIC is an advantage
• Strong competence in project management, especially in international and cross-functional projects
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into efficient system solutions and processes
• Intercultural competence as well as business fluent English skills
• Assertiveness and strong communication skills
