CoC - Junior Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Liebherr-Werk Biberach GmbH manufactures high-quality tower cranes and mobile construction cranes. Fast action cranes, top slewing cranes, and mobile construction cranes are used successfully worldwide and stand for throughput capacity and economic efficiency.

Creating the fascinating: Your tasks Definition and integration of the teleoperation system into Liebherr's own as well as third-party systems (e.g., diagnostic systems)

Commissioning of the software in test environments such as Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) systems, as well as on the live system.

Close cooperation with internal specialist departments

• Contact person for topics related to documentation, systems, and functional descriptions

Modular system maintenance, especially regarding SW releases and SW bills of materials

Creation of system requirements HW/SW for the further development of the teleoperation system

Responsible for EOL management and series maintenance of the SW

Ensuring the compatibility of the teleoperation system with regard to normative requirements in the construction machinery environment

Support of training and service as a system expert

Contributing strengths: Your qualifications Successfully completed studies in engineering or natural sciences or a comparable course of study

Relevant experience in (model-based) software development

Experience in requirements engineering and in software testing is an advantage

Knowledge of sensor technology, control technology, network technology, CAN, security is an advantage

Experience in C++, Java, Linux, PTC RV&S (Integrity) / PTC Codebeamer / DOORS, Jira is desirable

Good written and spoken English skills

Willingness for occasional business trips
