Strategic Buyer in the Industry and Investment Sector (m/f/d)

These are your tasks:

• Analysis of procurement markets for the assigned purchasing area
• Purchasing of services, capital goods, consumables

• Establishment, support, and further development of suppliers ▪ Clarification of delivery problems, bottlenecks, and technical issues
• Requesting and evaluating quotations

• Preparation of decisions regarding the onboarding of new suppliers ▪ Evaluation of suppliers with regard to delivery capability, price, quality, and reliability
• Conducting negotiations during contract design

• Ensuring supplier integration into project processes

What you bring with you:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, or a similar qualification
• Ideally several years of professional experience in purchasing

• Very good knowledge of the ERP system (e.g., Infor LN) and MS-Office applications desirable
• Business fluent English

• Very good technical and economic understanding is an advantage
• Convincing communication and negotiation skills paired with high resilience and assertiveness in a dynamic procurement environment
